It is very common these days to own multiple products. But when you have a product for everything, you quickly risk running out of space and ending up with unused products (or very rarely) and unfortunately, many of these products contain toxic or bad ingredients for the body and harm the environment. This is why we are talking to you today about an all-purpose soap that takes care of your general hygiene and your interior: that of Dr. Bronner’s!
What is Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap?
This is Magic Soap in liquid version from Dr. Bronner’s (which also exists in solid form, but whose format is less practical for certain uses that we will discuss below). This multi-use organic soap combines impeccable ethics, particularly in terms of commitment to fair trade, and offers a composition that the skin and all surfaces of the house love (and we can read the composition without problem, we know that that it contains and the people who produce it do not need scientific names to hide behind as these components are so good). For example, there are gentle oils (coconut, jojoba, olive and hemp) as well as quality pure essential oils. The little extra that hits the mark: increased pleasure of use thanks to a velvety foam and different scents: Citrus Orange – Tea Tree – Rose – Lavender – Peppermint – Unscented (sweet, baby) – Almond – and Eucalyptus.
The different uses:
Its versatility makes it useful for travelers and campers whose luggage space is limited. So, there is no need to load up: the backpack is lighter.
- To shave
- As a shampoo
- Like an average shower gel
- To give a good massage
- In toothpaste (not the most pleasant, but some people don’t mind… it’s up to you to try)
- Like a bubble bath
- Diluted in mouthwash
- An aftershave to calm the skin
- As a foot bath, refreshing
- An effective detergent
- For grooming
- A treatment for baby (if you take the odorless version, it is the gentlest)
- As a deodorant
- Instead of dishwashing liquid
- As a fruit rinse to rid them of pesticides, soil and germs left behind by finger-filled hands at the store
- In laundry (especially for silk)
- A natural pesticide, it is ideal against ants
- A brush rinse
How is Dr. Bronner’s soap used?
There are two ways to use it:
- Pur to wash your hands, body, face, hair, teeth…
- Or diluted for laundry, dishes, floors…
It’s up to you to decide what you’re going to use it for.
Mamie’s opinion on Dr. Bronner’s soap:
Grandma really appreciated this product while camping where she was able to use it to completely wash herself and do the dishes. The mint scent is very invigorating and not as unpleasant as you might think in toothpaste. At the end of the day, in summer, the mint scent helps calm the feeling of heavy legs! On the skin, the effect is reminiscent of a classic soap: the skin is clean, but can feel a little tight. This Dr. Bronner’s soap is great for replacing many household products and cleaning effectively while leaving a clean smell. Grandma was able to test the fragrance-free version, which is softer and less allergenic while still remaining effective. As for the almond scent, it smells very good, but will not stay on the skin… Too bad!
