When we don’t give you clever tips for using your dishwashing detergent wisely, we give you instructions for creating some at a lower cost. And if we offer you so many ideas to achieve with this product, it’s because we couldn’t do without it on a daily basis! It is a powerful ally for those who wash dishes by hand and it is also a good degreaser for everyday life. To complete our article on the 15 surprising uses of dishwashing liquid, we are going to give you 10 new ones to take even more advantage of this little miracle on a daily basis.

1) To clean the floor effectively

Prepare a bucket of hot water and add two good tablespoons of your dishwashing detergent (no more so as not to risk slipping). It is an ideal solution for vinyl flooring or sparkling tiles, so you can definitely adopt this mixture in the kitchen or bathroom.

On the other hand, do not clean a solid parquet floor with this soapy water (unless you like the “warped slats” style, but we doubt it).

2) On garden furniture

Use a bowl of hot water with a few drops of dish soap to get a perfect cleaner for PVC chairs and tables. To rinse, don’t bother: give a splash of water with your garden hose and let dry in the sun.

The little “plus” of this technique? It also works on PVC windows or kitchen doors! So why deprive yourself of it?

3) Find a clean comb or hairbrush

Among the tangle of hair, you may find dandruff, sebum and other dirt that accumulates quite quickly and to which are added traces of styling products and dry shampoo. To clean everything, use a bath of lukewarm water to which you add a few drops of dishwashing liquid.

4) For your brushes

You can also use this product on your makeup brushes or for painting if you wish. This is a very effective solution.

For your makeup brushes, you can mix a dose of dishwashing liquid with a little conditioner to clean the bristles and make them soft. Another good technique is to put a little product at the bottom of a dish, moisten the bristles in water and rub the brush in the plate, going in circles and back and forth.

5) Against flies

Don’t you catch flies with vinegar? Really ? So try pouring vinegar into a container and adding a few drops of dish soap. The vinegar attracts flies and the dish soap will keep them trapped.
