1/ The toothbrush for a clean car
Keep your old toothbrush for cleaning small, hard-to-reach areas around the house (joints, etc.). It is also very useful for cleaning the textured faux leather on your car doors. A soft brush is required to limit micro-scratches.
Advice : Soak it in a little soapy water with a tiny bit of white vinegar before you start cleaning.
2/ Olive oil
Apply it very lightly to your dashboard and leather seats then massage gently with a paper towel.
Advice : Remember not to add too much or it will make everything greasy.
3/ Toothpaste
Apply it to a toothbrush and rub your headlights in a circular manner. Leave for a few hours before rinsing. This will make your oxidized headlights extremely clean without damaging them.
Advice : Wipe off the excess with a dry cloth before rinsing. It’s as clean as going through a car wash!
4/ Steel wool
Very useful for easily scouring stuck flies and insects. Be careful not to scratch anything.
