Nivea cream is known to everyone. Very often, it brings back good memories, because many of us have seen this little blue pot proudly sitting on our grandmother’s or mother’s bathroom shelf. And it is therefore impossible to sniff its sweet scent without feeling a little touch of nostalgia. And if this product has been so appreciated for several generations (it was launched in 1911 in a yellow pot and took on its blue metal in 1925), it is above all because this cream is very rich and for its multiple uses. In this article, we therefore return to the sometimes lesser known benefits of this cuddly treatment that many people continue to buy and keep carefully in a corner if necessary.
Please remember, however, that the composition of this treatment is unfortunately far from natural. Most of its ingredients come from petrochemicals. If like us, you now prefer to move away from chemical formulas and turn to more eco-friendly and/or natural treatments, know that you can easily replace it with shea butter, aloe vera, a vegetable oil (oil jojoba, coconut oil, olive oil, etc.) or a very rich homemade cream.
