If your skin tends to heat up during periods of psoriasis flare-ups, lavender is one of the essential oils you can turn to with confidence. It is also rather well tolerated by the whole family although it should be avoided in pregnant women (especially in their first trimester) and children under 3 months.

A natural remedy with essential oils to soothe the skin in cases of psoriasis

In a tinted glass bottle, mix 20 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil, 10 drops of Himalayan spikenard essential oil, 10 drops of frankincense essential oil, 10 drops of rose geranium essential oil and 10 more from rosemary to verbenone. Then dilute everything in 3 ml of jojoba oil, 2 ml of cocoa butter or aloe vera gel and 1 ml of argan or rosehip vegetable oil.
