4 tips to get rid of it forever

Save it for later!

Whether in private or at the beach, having pimples on your buttocks can give you some complexes. As a result, our confidence can take a hit! Contrary to what we sometimes think, hygiene has nothing to do with it. Often, it’s hormones that get in the way. And then, the added heat, friction and sweat make the breakouts worse! (However, these imperfections should not be confused with heat rash. The way to treat them would then be different.) In addition, shaving and hair removal can also leave a few spots on the epidermis. If a few unsightly pimples have taken up residence on your posterior, here are some tips to quickly get rid of them.

1) Everything to avoid stimulating the appearance of pimples on the buttocks

A healthy lifestyle is a key point against these little pimples. So, the simple act of paying attention to certain details will help improve the situation. For all products that come into contact with the skin (laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc.), favor what is neutral, coloring-free and fragrance-free as much as possible. To limit skin problems, especially rashes on the buttocks, homemade laundry detergent is a good option. Use less fabric softener when caring for laundry and opt for hypoallergenic detergent.

2) Take special care of the clothes you wear

The choice of clothing is essential, because synthetic materials or too tight like slim jeans or shapewear will cause friction and make the situation worse. On the contrary, favor clothing and underwear loose, fluid and in natural materials. Indeed, these will be great advantages for letting the skin breathe. Thus, cotton will become your best ally! And even if it’s not really possible for sports gear which often has special materials, change quickly and take a shower quickly to limit the damage.

3) How to properly wash buttocks with pimples?

As with laundry detergent, we favor simple and gentle formulas, preferably without perfume, dye-free, hypoallergenic and with neutral pH. Dermatological bar or soap-free gel may be suitable to prevent redness. However, we can also give Aleppo soap a chance, whose moisturizing, disinfecting and healing properties will calm the skin. In all cases, cleaning should be followed by a good rinse and perfect pat drying (rubbing is too aggressive). Drying well will prevent the accumulation of moisture which promotes pimples in the folds of the buttocks.

As for exfoliation, it is not really recommended. Contrary to popular belief, it may in fact irritate the area even more. This can therefore result in scars or hyperpigmented spots that are much more unsightly than the pimple itself! The only exception is chemical exfoliant based on salicylic or lactic acid which will be suitable for this area.

Avoid picking at your pimples at all costs. On the contrary, be very gentle with this area and focus on hydration. A urea-based cream will work very well to soften this area and promote cell renewal. Additionally, use benzoyl peroxide to treat pimples effectively. Otherwise, head for more natural treatment solutions. Very gentle, aloe vera gel allows, for example, moisturize, protect and heal the spotty area. For its part, the clay mask can also be applied to the buttocks and gently purify spots. Finally, you can apply every evening after showering a chamomile poultice on the posterior. To do this, soak a cloth with an infusion made from 30 g dried chamomile flowers and a liter of water. Then leave for 20 minutes. Your little red spots and blackheads on your buttocks will quickly be forgotten.
