Collect the juice of a lemon and add baking soda to it to form a paste. The consistency should not be liquid, the mixture should resemble a slightly thick cake batter.

Apply this mixture everywhere: toilet seat (top and bottom), bowl, bottom (where the toilet is anchored in the ground), interior of the toilet… and leave to act for 15 minutes. While this is working, you can take a spoonful of the lemon mixture and use it on any storage or objects in the toilet. Then scrub the areas with a toothbrush soaked in white vinegar, pouring some over them and finish with a damp washcloth.

2) Pass a wipe or tissue soaked in white vinegar in hard-to-reach areas.

Put your soaked tissue on a screwdriver to pass it through hard-to-reach gaps. For a thorough cleaning, do not hesitate to remove the toilet seat and wash it separately. This will make it easier to clean the toilet without any hassle.

3) Pour 130 ml of white vinegar into the toilet tank, leave to act for 15 minutes and flush 2 or 3 times.

The vinegar will help dislodge odors embedded in your tank. Don’t forget this step.

4) After using the toilet brush, place it between the lid and the bowl to dry.

This will prevent too much moisture and dirt from accumulating in the brush pot.

When you put something to disinfect the toilet (like the capsules mentioned in the introduction or white vinegar), also soak your brush for a few minutes to clean and disinfect it and flush the toilet, leaving it in to rinse.

5) In a jar, put baking soda and add a few drops of essential oil. Close everything with a thin fabric or aluminum pierced by you.
