- Empty food scraps from plates before putting them in the sink and pick up hair, dirt and stubble as soon as they appear.

To unblock pipes, it is not always necessary to buy a chemical or natural product. A simple pot of water brought to a boil can sometimes be enough to clean blocked drains. Once poured, boiling water will indeed dissolve clumps and blockages of soap and grease clumped in the pipes. Once these organic materials are removed, you will no longer notice stagnant water!
When you are trying to learn how to unclog a blocked pipe in your home (unclog a sink, clogged toilet, etc.), using dishwashing liquid can be very useful. This allows for even greater efficiency on blocked pipes. Its lubricating effect makes it possible to promote theeven faster removal of the blockage.
To do this, add a cup of dish soap to a basin of hot water and empty this down the drain. After 15 minutes of waiting, you should see the level drop, a sign that unclogging is in progress. Then repeat if necessary.
2) The simple, quick and powerful recipe
To achieve this natural unblockeryou will need 200 g of baking soda (also called sodium bicarbonate), around 20 cl of white alcoholic vinegar and 200 g of coarse salt or the lemon juice of half a citrus fruit. Sprinkle the powders on the blocked pipe then cover with the liquids. This gives rise to an effervescent reaction which will unclog the pipes and clean them.
Leave on for 30 minutes then pour in a pan of boiling water to rinse. If necessary, you can leave it on longer before rinsing or repeat these steps several times until the desired result is obtained if the pipes are very clogged.
3) The recipe for the most effective homemade unblocker
To make this recipe, you will need to boil two liters of water and add three tablespoons of soda crystals. Above all, use gloves to handle this cleaning product. Once the crystals have melted, add a glass of vinegar to the resulting liquid and mix well. Finally, pour everything into your clogged drain and leave to act for about an hour.
4) The zero waste home unblocker
There are many tricks to do with eggshells, and this is one of the least known! To make it, gather around ten eggshells and grind them into powder. Then add a glass of vinegar and a little hot water. Pour this mixture into the blocked drain and rinse with a large quantity of boiling water.
Leave to act for at least 30 minutes for greater effectiveness on organic waste.
