Some natural remedies that are good for your health do not necessarily taste good or are not easy to swallow. The natural remedy that we are offering you today, however, is the opposite of that. The sweet and spicy flavor as well as the pleasant texture of these turmeric cubes should not, however, make you forget their benefits and their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
This homemade recipe is very useful in cases of chronic pain (back, arthritis, etc.), digestive disorders or even colds. Thanks to turmeric, these treats also take care of your heart and your immune system. In short, they are good complements to a careful lifestyle. In addition, you can make other preparations with turmeric, because it is a gold mine for having iron health! For example, you can make energizing shots for a healthy fall-winter. In short, it’s really an ingredient to have in your kitchen for good health.
The ingredients for the turmeric and honey cubes:
250 ml of pure orange juice squeezed by you (not a store-bought ultra-sweet orange juice)
125 ml of hot water
50g honey (make sure you choose real, quality honey)
10 g of turmeric
65 g of natural gelatin
Silicone molds (perfect shape and size for forming dice by cutting for example or special molds for candies, it’s up to you!)
The steps
1) First, make a mixture with orange juice and turmeric. Then add the water and honey.
2) After that, mix everything and let the temperature rise slowly.
3) Sprinkle everything with gelatin without stopping stirring and reduce the heat temperature.
4) Let everything thicken before pouring into the molds. Finally, refrigerate your preparation (do not freeze). After about an hour, it will be ready!
5) Eat them within a week or freeze them for later.
The benefits of turmeric and honey:
Honey and turmeric are two ingredients with beneficial properties, used for centuries in traditional medicine. Turmeric is best known for its curcumin, a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. It helps reduce chronic inflammation, supports joint health, and may help improve brain function. Additionally, turmeric promotes digestion and could reduce the risk of heart disease and certain cancers. Honey is rich in antioxidants and has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps strengthen the immune system and soothes sore throats. Finally, thanks to its natural enzymes, it also facilitates digestion and soothes stomach problems.
Combined, honey and turmeric therefore form a powerful combination to support overall well-being. This natural blend can help boost immunity, soothe inflammation, and promote better digestion. They are often consumed in the form of golden milk (also known as golden milk) or added to herbal or spiced herbal teas (notably cinnamon). However, our treat recipe reveals a new gourmet way to benefit from these soothing and revitalizing virtues.
However, be careful of potential contraindications with turmeric.
