The simple tip for cleaning your microfiber sofa

Save it for later!

You love your microfiber sofa. And for good reason, microfibers allow the fabric to be waterproof and offer good stain resistance. And it’s not too much with the phenomena you have at home! Unlike leather, microfiber also suffers little or no from cat scratches. And that too is a good point.

There are, however, some disadvantages to microfiber, particularly when it comes to cleaning. You don’t know how to go about it? Fortunately for you, we offer you a simple, inexpensive and above all very effective little tip.

What you need:

  • With a white cloth
  • 70° alcohol
  • From a vaporizer
  • Baby wipes
  • A stiff bristle brush

The steps:

1) Put a little 70° alcohol in a spray bottle. Spray this liquid on the sofa.

2) Once the area is damp, take the white cloth and scrub the sofa. You will remove all the dirt. The water stains will then remain. That’s when wipes come into play.

3) Use your wipes to scrub stains from the sofa. Rub until the stains are soaked with the product contained in the wipes.

4) Once you have cleaned the entire sofa, take the stiff bristle brush and scrub the entire sofa to plump up the fabric. And there you have it!

Another tip :

You can also sprinkle your couch with baking soda. Brush the sofa to better penetrate the powder into the fibers. Leave it on overnight and vacuum it up the next day (if possible with a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment). The advantage of bicarbonate is that it also destroys bad odors (this would not be a luxury).
