We have to be honest with you: we love wipes! It’s quite simple, but you just need to take one, use it and that’s it. This solution is simple, effective, fast and practical. The problem is that it is not always economical and rarely ecological… This is why for several months, we have been giving you solutions to do them yourself. In particular, there were the baby wipes and the dust wipes which you really liked. Today, we present to you natural disinfectant wipes to make with next to nothing!
What you need:
- Unused fabric (old sheet, clothing that has become too small or too big, etc.)
- water
- White vinegar
- Tea tree essential oil (or any other essential oil that disinfects and fights bacteria)
- A pot with a lid
- Scissors
The steps:
1) Cut out your fabric to create your future wipes. Choose the size that suits you (not too small to be easy to use and not too big to take up too much space in the pot). Place your pieces of fabric in the jar.
2) Boil the water or filter it.
3) Make a mixture of half water and half vinegar then add 10 drops of essential oil. Pour this preparation onto the fabric and leave to macerate.
4) To use one, take it out of the jar. Wring it out so that it is damp (not wet) and proceed with cleaning.
You can then put the dirty wipes in the washing machine and put them back in the jar. If necessary, repeat the mixture.
