Cleaning a parquet or wooden floor is quite easy, but enhancing it and making it shiny is really something else! This beautiful asset full of charm in an interior requires particular care to be at the top of its beauty, but this is not a reason to spend money on chemicals to maintain it (especially when we see that the shine is obtained at the cost of a sticky floor and on which it is therefore unpleasant to walk). To take good care of it, here is an effective and easy-to-make cleaner that will make your floor ultra beautiful without waxy residue.
What you need:
- 125 ml of vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of Castile soap
- 65 ml of 70° alcohol
- 500 ml of hot water
- Optional: an essential oil of your choice
- Empty, clean spray bottle
The steps:
1) Pour all the ingredients except the water into your bottle.
2) Add a few drops of essential oil to get a good smell. 10 to 15 drops will be more than enough.
3) Then pour the water little by little into the bottle.
4) Mix everything carefully. And it’s ready!
To use it, simply spray a little of this mixture on the wood and mop it, following the direction of the wood. If you need to treat a fairly large area, you can also make the mixture in a bucket and dip your mop in it.
