WhatsApp Inc. has decided to enable the dark mode feature for all users on its platforms and this feature is made available to beta tester users only.This dark mode has been long-awaited on WhatsApp and its launch proved that WhatsApp has its users in mind, you don’t have to apply to be a beta app tester to enjoy the dark mode feature as I’ll provide you with the app at the end of this post.
In case you aren’t aware, this feature has been available since the 22nd day of January 2020 and it has been in use, however, if you would like to join the trend then follow suit with the below procedure.
How to Activate WhatsApp Dark Theme
Simply,
- Navigate to Playstore and Update your WhatsApp App
- Launch the App
- Click the 3 dotted icons near the search box > click on Settings
- Navigate to Chats > Theme
- Select Dark Theme
That’s it; welcome to WhatsApp dark mode, you can also set the theme to work with your battery saver app.
However, if for any reason after the update, the dark mode feature didn’t show up then you can proceed to download the beta version.
