Avocado is often a very popular dish and we never tire of a good, well-prepared guacamole or a salad with a few pieces of this succulent green fruit. The problem is that the large core it contains ends up in the trash in most homes even though it can be very useful. First of all, it is possible to eat it or use it to grow an adorable plant, but it is also possible to find a beauty use for it by making it a wonderful exfoliant! With summer and tanning, it is always nice to be able to exfoliate the skin well: it will tan better and stay tanned much longer. And then by exfoliating dead cells, your skin will be softer and radiant. Rest assured, preparing this exfoliant is very simple.
What you need:
- An avocado pit
- 50 g of shea butter
- A generous tablespoon of coarse sea salt
The steps:
1) The first step is to preheat the oven to 180°C.
2) While this is heating, rinse and dry the core.
3) You must then finely grate the core and place the gratings obtained on baking paper.
4) Put everything in the oven for 10 minutes to dry out the core.
5) Melt the shea butter in a bain-marie. Then add the grated stone and the coarse salt. Leave to cool then thicken in the fridge, mixing from time to time.
How to use it?
It is stored in an airtight jar in the refrigerator. You need to massage a small amount onto your wet skin using circular movements. You will then need to soap and rinse. Your skin will be silky!
