A simple technique for impeccably clean oven knobs

Save it for later!

Cleaning the oven and stove seems like a never-ending headache! First there is the interior of the oven which quickly finds itself in a state of maddening filth (and let’s not talk about the state of the cooking plates, we would do ourselves more harm than good), then there is oven windows that are unrivaled in getting greasy (sometimes even inside the glass) and cookers require infinite patience accompanied by a good dose of elbow grease to look like a worthy household appliance of this name (and worthy of cooking especially above).

As if all that wasn’t enough, dirt also has a way of getting onto the adjustment buttons, which is what you gain from touching them with slightly dirty hands or letting the marks become encrusted. . However, maintenance is easy and that’s what we’re going to prove to you today!

What you need:

  • A spray bottle with white vinegar (or a water/vinegar mixture)
  • Sponge
  • He was
  • Optional: baking soda

If you don’t have white vinegar, use some hot soapy water (without burning yourself).

The steps:

1) Remove the buttons with a firm gesture, but without breaking everything. Be careful not to lose any small parts (springs, etc.). Place them in a bowl filled with vinegar (or soapy water).

2) Spray your vinegar on the area to be treated and leave for 30 seconds. If it leaks, it doesn’t matter.

3) Rub everything with your sponge. If it doesn’t come off properly, put baking soda on your sponge and use that to scrub.

4) Then take care of the buttons. Rub them as you did before and let them dry (or dry them thoroughly with a cloth). Once they are completely dry, you can put them back in place. It couldn’t be simpler!
