Washing dishes is not a pleasure every day. We sometimes dread the moment of dealing with the lunch dish where the burnt food has stuck or the dishes from the day before that we forgot and which have dried out a little. So, we rely on several things to tackle the problem head on: hot water for soaking, elbow grease for scrubbing, a sponge in suitable condition and of course a good dishwashing product! If you bought one that isn’t degreaser enough for your taste or you wouldn’t say no to a little boost of the dishwashing liquid you buy all the time, we have the perfect tip for you! This will certainly allow you to save time by making the product more degreasing and you will need to use less for it to be effective.
What you need:
- White vinegar
- Dishwashing detergent
- A funnel & a measuring cup
The steps:
1) It’s very simple! Using your measuring cup, prepare the dose of vinegar. 100 ml of vinegar should be more than enough.
2) Using a funnel, pour the vinegar directly into the bottle of dishwashing liquid.
3) Mix well and that’s it. Your improved product is already ready to use. In addition, this allows you to increase the quantity of product and postpone the time to repurchase… You had to think about that 😉!
Good to know:
If you want to make your own homemade dishwashing liquid, don’t forget to include white vinegar in the formula to dissolve all traces of food! On the other hand, do not add it if your homemade product contains bicarbonate, because these two ingredients cancel each other out when mixed.
