What you need to make a scrub that smells like gingerbread:
- 20 g of brown sugar
- 15 g white sucre
- 10 g of coconut vegetable oil
- 5 ml of vanilla extract
- 4 drops of vitamin E (to prevent the product from going rancid)
- 10 drops of gingerbread fragrance (you can most often find it online on sites that sell ingredients to make cosmetics)
- Recommended: spatula for mixing
- Airtight glass jar
The gingerbread scent scrub step by step:
1) Pour the coconut oil into a bowl and gently melt it in a bain-marie.
2) When it’s done, you can add the other ingredients off the heat.
3) Mix your preparation carefully using your spatula. You must obtain a homogeneous dough.
4) Transfer your mixture into the pot. Don’t hesitate to label it and decorate the jar (we have even more pleasure using a product when the packaging is pretty.
5) Use it in the shower by performing circular massages. Finish by rinsing.
Under ideal storage conditions (protected from heat, humidity and light), the product will keep for three months, or even a little more.
