With everything going on in the kitchen, it shouldn’t be a surprise if the furniture ends up a little dirty. And of course, this dirt accumulates quickly and furniture quickly loses its original shine in favor of a dull appearance. The fact of using oil has something to do with it (especially with the splashes during cooking) and as we have already explained to you, sometimes the best weapon against traces of oil is… ‘oil ! It’s no surprise that you find this ingredient in the easy-to-make cleanser that we offer in this article. The latter will leave your very dirty and greasy kitchen furniture looking like new. So why deprive yourself of it?
What you need:
- Coconut oil
- Baking soda
- Optional: cloth, sponge and/or toothbrush.
How to clean very dirty kitchen furniture?
1) Start by mixing the coconut oil with the baking soda. We advise you to use one dose of oil for every two of bicarbonate.
2) Apply this paste to the areas to be treated and rub. You can use a cloth or sponge or even just your hands for ease. For harder to reach areas, there’s nothing like an old toothbrush.
3) Finish by wiping.
Before/After:
For your furniture such as the various elements present in the kitchen (for example the oven or the hobs as well as the worktop), there are other recipes for household products with a very effective degreasing effect. Based on white vinegar, citrus essential oils, soda crystals, household alcohol or even baking soda, they leave no chance for stubborn stains and encrusted traces of grease.
