Create your own soap leaves and save space in your bag

Save it for later!

At first glance, one might wonder why have fun creating soap leaves. But just think back to all those times when there was no soap to wash your hands at the office or in public restrooms or the weekends camping where the backpack is already overflowing with heavy objects without any problem. We need to add multiple care products to understand that these soap sheets have great potential. They are efficient, don’t take up space, aren’t heavy and frankly, they couldn’t be more fun! It’s a must for traveling without products spilling everywhere and the advantage of making them yourself rather than buying them is having your favorite products close at hand. If you are interested, find out here how to make them so you can easily take everything with you.

What you need:

  • Water-soluble paper (you can find some on the internet)
  • Liquid soap (dishwashing liquid, shampoo, body shower gel, hand soap, etc.)
  • Scissors
  • Enough to spread the leaves
  • Small metal or plastic boxes (empty lip balm, mint candies, Tic-Tac, etc.)
  • Clean support (cooking plate for example)
  • Brush and scissors

Good to know: You can also take a multi-use natural soap such as liquid Marseille soap, Aleppo soap, liquid black soap or Dr Bronner soap to make all-purpose soap sheets. Just take a soap without palm oil and preferably of natural origin and favor liquid soaps in the form of fairly liquefied and flexible gels.

Rest assured, the soap leaves keep all the cleaning, antiseptic, antibacterial and foaming power of the soap (as well as its scents if it is perfumed), all in a very practical format! In the shower while camping, you won’t see the difference with your shower gels as it will lather well…
