This scrub will give you soft skin from head to toe! Indeed, as we explained to you in our article on special treatments to repair very chapped lips, rose is rich in vitamin E and takes great care of the skin (softening, toning, anti-aging, etc.). With the combination of simple and inexpensive ingredients used to prepare this treatment, you probably won’t need to apply cream after your shower! This product will therefore quickly become a favorite especially as it will give a second life to the bouquet of roses that you have been given which is slowly starting to age and fade or it will allow you to use some magnificent roses from the garden.

What you need:

  • Rose petals
  • 400 g de sucre
  • 140g coconut oil (or any oil of your choice)
  • 5 to 10 drops of geranium essential oil OR 3 to 5 drops of rose absolute oil

The number of petals depends on the variety and the size of the petals. Count between 25 and 50 large petals and between 50 and 100 for small petals. In short, there is no exact number here… you have to experiment a little! 😉

The steps:

1) Rinse the petals using a strainer then dry them between two sheets of paper towel. Then dry them for a day or two flat behind a sunny window.

2) Once the petals are dry, blend them into crumbs and mix with the sugar.

3) Then add this mixture to the other ingredients and make sure that the mixture is homogeneous.

4) Transfer to a clean airtight container. It’s ready!

The product is applied two or three times a week in the shower (on damp skin) using circular movements. Rinse well and dry. Your skin will be divinely silky and hydrated.
