Everything we use in the bathroom or toilet is potentially a breeding ground for bacteria. This is especially the case for all tools such as suction cups or brushes for cleaning toilets which are not very clean due to the use they are made of. All wet tools are a godsend for mold of all kinds that nest there! Razors, toothbrushes and other loofah sponges are not left out either. However, the contact of these with our skin means that cleaning becomes important. However, how should we proceed? Find the answer in this article.
1) The toothbrush

An American study showed that even with a cap, there was fecal matter on toothbrushes. In fact, the cap even facilitates their proliferation. So keep the brush away from the toilet.
To clean it, give it a half-hour bath in cider vinegar or white vinegar mixed with water. Vinegar is a good cleaner because it is antibacterial, stain remover and deodorizer. Hydrogen peroxide is another possible option.
Another possibility: the dishwasher. Just as radical and really simple!

Wedge the brush between the plastic bezel and the ceramic part. Put baking soda with a generous hand on the brush then pour lemon juice and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse everything with hot water and start again a second time.
Bicarbonate destroys odors and bacteria. Lemon is antibacterial and anti-stain. It is also what will give a fresher and more pleasant smell to the brush. Last tip: do not leave the brush in a container filled with water. This is what bacteria prefer as an environment to proliferate.

Soak it for an hour in a bath made with equal parts water and cider vinegar. Then let the sponge dry. Thanks to the vinegar, the sponge will be free of dead skin and bacteria.
4) The razor

It only takes one use for hair, dead skin and bacteria to build up. This can lead to pimples or infections. This is why we advise not to keep a razor for too long (around 4 uses per razor) and before each use, remember to spray alcohol on the razor.
5) The sucker
It is a simple tool to maintain. To remove all bacteria, pour a generous dose of alcohol on the suction cup and leave for 10 minutes before rinsing with hot water.
