To clean your wooden terrace
Even if the composite wood or exotic natural wood used is rot-proof, cleaning with a brush using lukewarm water with Marseille soap or black soap is often necessary. You can also degrease the wood by diluting percarbonate of soda with hot water (approximately 30g/L). Apply the resulting solution with a brush to the wooden deck boards. Leave it on for around twenty minutes then rinse with water.
To clean your concrete terrace
Avoid using an acidic cleaning product (white vinegar, lemon juice, etc.) for the longevity of this outdoor terrace. A little multi-purpose sodium bicarbonate or black soap diluted in water can clean the paving. To prevent stains and mold on the patio floor, dilute 2 tablespoons of percarbonate of soda per liter of hot water, then scrub each patio tile vigorously using a scrubber. To remove moss and dirt between the slabs of outdoor terraces, you can add basil essential oil to your bucket of soapy water.
For a tiled terrace or natural stone terrace
Scrub your terrace vigorously using soda crystals, black soap or Marseille soap mixed with water. If the joints are dirty, mix one part baking soda to one part lukewarm water, possibly lemon juice for whiteness and scrub!
