How to make these cute nourishing bars to massage on the skin?

Save it for later!

If you’re looking for a cure for your dry skin like an old Ancient Egyptian papyrus or a sweet gift idea for someone who loves self-care, you’ll find what you need here! These nourishing bars, which have nothing to envy of those of a major cosmetic brand, make the skin truly soft and personalize your treatment according to your tastes by choosing the decoration as well as the scent. In short, what happiness!

What you need:

  • Pretty little silicone molds
  • 14 g of shea butter
  • 70 g of cocoa butter
  • 9 g of safflower oil

And for the smell and decoration (four ideas to choose from, you can even test several or find others):

  • Rose essential oil and petals
  • Lavender essential oil and a little fresh dried lavender
  • Lemon essential oil and dried lemon zest
  • Vanilla essential oil

The steps:

1) Melt the butters and safflower oil in a bain-marie. Mix carefully.

2) Then pour your preparation into your silicone molds.

3) Add a few drops of essential oil and stir again.

4) Decorations are optional, but allow you to give a more original appearance to your bars (especially if it is for a gift). You can sprinkle a little on top of your preparation or put it in the mixture itself.

5) Refrigerate them until hard and you can unmold them.

How to use them?

They are kept in a dry and cool place. Simply pass them onto the skin and massage. The heat of the skin helps melt just the right amount of product. Note that you can also use it as a lip balm if you put it in a small jar.
