If shoes were to have a proverb, they would surely choose: “every season is worth its trouble”! And in winter, they see all the colors between mud, rain and snow. But if there is one thing that leaves marks, it is the salt used to melt the snow and prevent slipping. It may save us from a few unprepared acrobatic stunts when we walk down the street or in a parking lot, but it also has the gift of leaving not very elegant white marks on our boots. Here is the trick to restore their beauty and remove these nasty stains.
What you need:
- Flacon spray
- Eau
- White vinegar
The steps:
1) Fill your spray bottle with water.
2) Then add a few tablespoons of white vinegar.
3) Mix well. Your product is ready to use!
4) Spray this solution on the stains and gently rub with paper towel to wipe dry. Salt stains will not crease and your boots will be very clean.
5) Keep it on hand near your shoe collection so you can pull it out at any time.
