No mess! 9 tips for using leftover sunscreen

Despite a summer of applying and reapplying it regularly at the beach, you can find yourself with a bottle of sunscreen that is still full or barely used at the end of the summer season, especially when you have had to buy more. Some then have the habit of putting this container aside for the following year. However, be careful to ban this anti-waste reflex! This product in fact loses all its protective properties approximately six months after opening (sometimes less). For maximum safety, it is therefore better not to keep this cream open to protect your skin from sun exposure after more than one season. Fortunately, if this treatment can no longer be used for the use that was initially intended, we can give the pot a second life. It is in fact entirely possible to use the remaining sunscreen for cleaning or for less sunny beauty uses.

1) The rest of sunscreen for soft and hydrated skin

The remaining milk or sunscreen oil can help moisturize the skin (just like the end of the can of after-sun which is above all an outstanding moisturizer and softener to beautify the skin!). Moreover, its scent will remind you of the holidays and will thus give a good boost to your morale in dire need of sunshine during autumn-winter! If the formula also contains aloe vera or shea butter, you can be sure that your skin will be asking for more. Of course, sometimes the formula is a little thick and less easy to apply on the legs, hands and feet. If this is the case, do not hesitate to add 2 drops of apricot kernel oil to a hazelnut of this cream to dilute it. This will make it more nourishing and easy to apply.

9) Print a personalized t-shirt using sunscreen

Then, place the photo on the t-shirt or the surface where you want to place it (face against the fabric) and pass the iron over it to make the transfer.
