Test this natural cleaner that removes the worst traces from the bathroom

Save it for later!

There is something impressive and almost magical in the speed with which the bathroom becomes filthy again. Of course, having kids and little time to dedicate to maintaining this room helps a lot in reaching this deplorable state of filth in a matter of days, but still! Fortunately, fans of natural cleaning can rely on this preparation that scrapes stains out of sight, makes this area shine at full speed, kills bad odors and leaves a fresh smell. Goodbye old soap marks that didn’t want to go away!

What you need:

  • 500 g baking soda
  • 170 g Epsom salt
  • 50 g of pumice powder
  • 5 ml of fir needle essential oil
  • 2 ml of lemongrass essential oil
  • An airtight jar (+ a label to clearly identify the product)

The first three ingredients scrape, clean and shine. The salt and bicarbonate deodorize and the essential oils leave a good smell. The fir needle allows for even more effective cleaning.

The steps:

1) Mix the salt and bicarbonate. You can pass the baking soda through a sieve to remove the pieces.

2) Continue adding the pumice stone and stir well with your hands or a spoon.

3) Finish with the essential oils and incorporate them well into your mixture.

4) Transfer everything into a pot.

5) Test your product on small areas to see if it is too strong for certain coatings.

How to use it?

Sprinkle some of the mixture over a damp sink, shower or bathtub. Then rub with a sponge, focusing on the dirtiest areas. Rinse.
