Cleaning the shower is no fun. In addition to the contortions to reach every corner, you have to tirelessly scrub the limescale residue, soap traces and dirt linked to mold. Let’s be positive, it gives us muscle! However, the household products that we use, even those based on chemicals, are not enough to maintain a clean shower door over the long term. To get a clean shower again, all you need is this very effective descaling cleaner, a microfiber and a little elbow grease.

With the right ecological natural products, there is no need for harmful bleach or toxic cleaning products to shine this room that is difficult to descale, disinfect, degrease and scrub while eliminating bad residual odors from the shower.
What you need:
-250 ml of dishwashing liquid (or liquid black soap or Marseille soap to obtain an even more ecological cleaning spray)
-250 ml of white vinegar
-A bottle with empty and clean spray
-A funnel
-A sponge or microfiber cloth
The steps:
1) Heat the white vinegar in the microwave or in a saucepan without boiling it. Do the test: put your finger in it, it should be hot and not hot.
2) Pour the dishwashing detergent into your spray bottle.
3) Add the white vinegar. Finally, close the spray bottle: your homemade ecological and biodegradable shower cleaning product is ready!
Do not add baking soda (or sodium bicarbonate) in the hope of making your disinfectant-degreaser cleaner more powerful. During the chemical reaction, these natural household cleaners cancel each other out and lose their potency.
4) Do not try to shake in all directions (otherwise you will only get bubbles). Just gently twist the bottle a few times before spraying.
5) Now spray your mixture generously on the dirt and scrape gently with the scraping side of the sponge.
6) Leave on for 30 minutes then rinse with cold water.
7) We advise you to clean the floor last so as not to slip! After this cleaning, the shower will be sparkling clean and will regain all its shine.
For cleaning the bathtub, you can use the same product. Multi-purpose, it is ideal for cleaning all surfaces in the bathroom. Remember to use a clean broom to scrub the bathtub without hurting your back!
