The winter season is particularly marked by the hot drinks that we drink to comfort ourselves in the face of the ambient cold and in particular the delicious Christmas teas and their addictive smell, spicy just enough and often very sweet. It contains cinnamon, ginger, cranberry, vanilla… In short, it’s everything we like. Our mouths water and our nostrils twitch just thinking about it! The idea of the day is therefore simple: create small soaps adopting this comforting scent and all without soda for less headache making! This could be a nice gift idea for a loved one, but also for yourself. Discover the recipe for Christmas tea soaps.
The ingredients:
(basic measurements that can be adjusted as needed)
-200 g of Marseille soap (and a real one please!)
-100 ml of very fragrant Christmas tea
-2 tablespoons of coconut oil
-1 tablespoon of honey
-Silicone molds
The recipe for Christmas tea soaps:
1) The day before making, steep the tea in cold water for an hour. Then collect the pieces in order to dry them and add them to the future preparation.
2) The next day, make Marseille soap shavings using a peeler.
3) Put the pieces in a saucepan and cover with your infusion from the day before. Melt everything while stirring constantly.
4) Once everything has melted, you can turn off the heat, add the other soap ingredients: coconut oil, honey and dried tea.
5) Pour the mixture into molds then let everything harden while cooling. And there you have it! Be careful, the smell is delicious, but it is better not to eat these beautiful sweets. They are only for your skin!
