In general, you don’t really expect a toilet to smell like roses. We could say that given what commonly happens there, there is no reason for this to be the case. So, we generally rely on products that keep a constant good smell (potpourri, etc.) or all kinds of sprays for “emergency cases”. And the odors that follow defecation are often cases of extreme emergency! To overcome this, we offer you this spray to use BEFORE and which helps prevent odors by capturing them in the water. We love this concept which is a change from sprays that make you suffocate every time you spray it into the air and of course, it’s less toxic!
What you need:
- 100 ml spray bottle
- 5 ml of 70° alcohol or vodka
- 30-40 drops of essential oil (our favorite combination: mint and lemongrass, but nothing stops you from using whatever you like [agrumes…] !)
- Eau
The steps:
1) Start by pouring the alcohol into your bottle. The alcohol will help incorporate the essential oils (the latter naturally cannot mix with water).
2) You can then add the essential oils. They are the ones that will help capture bad odors!
3) Then complete with water.
4) Close everything and mix well. It’s ready!
How to use it?
So, as we said earlier, you have to use it BEFORE making the big commission. Just do three or four sprays directly into the water and then go about your “business”.
