- 400 ml of water
- 100 ml of dishwashing liquid (or liquid soap)
- 5 spoons of citric acid powder (a natural vegetable acid to buy in supermarket, pharmacy or organic store)
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
The steps:
1) First, boil your water, vinegar and starch in a saucepan. Mix constantly until the mixture thickens and becomes viscous.
2) Once the thickness suits you, turn off the heat and let cool. Then carefully incorporate the citric acid.
3) Then, add your dishwashing detergent to this tumbler. Finally, transfer your product into an empty bottle. Here it is entirely possible to recycle the old bottle of one of your household products. Moreover, it is a solution that will allow you to properly dose your home cleaning product.
How to use the gel against limescale for incomparable shine and cleanliness?
After application, leave for a few minutes. If you still have large, difficult residues, you can leave it on overnight! Unlike liquid products such as vinegar alone or aerosols, it will in fact not evaporate. As a result, your taps will benefit from the product’s active ingredients all night long. A wipe with a soft damp microfiber cloth will do the rest. On the other hand, avoid its use on porous materials (marble and natural stone).
